Where to Catch Your Rental Car Shuttle at Denver Airport

You’ve collected your bags, but where’s the rental counter? To catch your rental car shuttle at Denver Airport, head outside baggage claim on Level 5 to Island 4. DEN’s rental agencies are on airport property, but you’ll need their courtesy shuttle to reach them from Jeppesen Terminal.

The airport lists shuttle pickup areas outside doors 505–513 on the east side and 504–512 on the west side. Before heading outside with your luggage, check your rental company’s arrival instructions so you can choose the most useful exit.

Island 4 is the pickup area, not a single shared rental-company stop. Look for your supplier’s name rather than boarding the first rental shuttle you see. For example, Enterprise directs you to the area marked Enterprise Rent-A-Car on the fourth island, accessible from either side of the terminal.

Some suppliers give more precise directions. SIXT puts its stop at the north end of Island 4: from the west side, use the crosswalk nearest door 504 and turn right; from the east side, use the crosswalk nearest door 505 and turn left. If you’re renting from another company, follow that company’s instructions instead.

Allow time for both the wait and the ride before you reach the rental facility. Enterprise says its shuttle picks up approximately every 10 minutes. SIXT describes its branch as approximately a seven-minute courtesy-bus ride from the airport. Those are different parts of the trip, not promises about how quickly you’ll be driving away.

If you can’t find your stop, check three things first: you’re on Level 5, you’ve reached Island 4, and the sign matches your rental company. Keep the supplier’s DEN location page and phone number handy so you can ask for directions without searching through confirmation emails at the curb.
