Just landed at Terminal 3 and wondering how to get to the Las Vegas rental car center? Quick answer: your car isn’t at the terminal. Grab your bags, follow the Rental Car Shuttle signs, and ride the free shuttle to the shared LAS Rental Car Center on Gilespie Street.

Step one is baggage claim. Collect everything first — it’s one trip instead of two. While you wait at the carousel, open your rental confirmation so you know your company and whether you can skip the counter.

Step two: follow the airport’s Rental Car Shuttle signs out to the shuttle pickup area. Terminal 3 has its own signed pickup spot, so trust the signs over the crowd — plenty of people are heading for taxis and rideshares instead. If you can’t spot it, airport staff can point you the right way.

Step three is the shuttle ride. The shuttles are free and shared by the rental companies at the center, and they run throughout the day. Wait times and traffic vary, so we won’t promise an exact number. A good habit is to plan extra time on busy weekends and big event days rather than counting on a quick hop.

Arriving late at night? The Rental Car Center itself is designed for travelers arriving at all hours, but each rental company sets its own counter hours. Check your company’s hours for your exact pickup time before you fly, and call ahead if your flight is delayed so your reservation doesn’t become a problem.

At the center, head to your company’s counter or its loyalty pickup area. Have your driver’s license, the payment card you booked with and any documents your company asks for ready. Before driving off, take photos of the car’s condition and fuel or charge level.

The return works in reverse: drive to the Rental Car Center, drop the car, then ride the shuttle back to your terminal. Leave room for the handover, the shuttle and your airline’s recommended check-in time.
