Lost something in your LAS rental car or shuttle? Who to call

If you’ve lost something in your LAS rental car or shuttle, start with the contact for the place you last had it.

You’ve returned the keys, reached the terminal—and your phone isn’t in your pocket. If you’ve lost something in your LAS rental car or shuttle, your first step is to narrow down where you last had it: the car, the shuttle or the rental center’s public areas. Those locations have different contacts, so start with the most likely one.

For something left on a rental-center shuttle bus, the airport lists 702-261-6630. Before calling, jot down your approximate ride time, which direction you were traveling and which terminal you used. Add any detail you remember about where you sat; that gives you something more useful to share than “the bus from the airport.”

For items lost in the Rent-A-Car Center’s public areas, including its lobby and curbs, the airport lists 702-261-6001. Be specific about the spot: a lobby seat and the shuttle loading curb are different places to check. The center is at 7135 Gilespie Street, separate from the airport terminals.

For an item left inside the rental car itself, start with your rental company’s location contact rather than the shuttle number. Use your rental agreement to identify the right branch. If you rented from Enterprise at LAS, its location page lists +1 833-315-5901; that’s the branch contact, not a dedicated lost-property line. Ask how to submit a lost-item report.

Have your rental agreement number, return time and a clear description of the item ready. If you recorded the vehicle’s plate or have a pickup photo, keep that handy too. You don’t need to post those details publicly—share identifying information directly with the company or lost-property staff handling your report.

Before making a trip back, ask whether the item has actually been located, where you’d collect it and what identification you should bring. If you’ve already left Las Vegas, ask whether shipping is available and whether there’s a cost; don’t assume either option is offered. For your next return, save a minute before handing over the keys to check the console, door pockets, seats and cargo area.
