LAS rental car pickup address: skip the terminal detour

You're leaving your hotel to collect a car, and your reservation says “Las Vegas airport.” Should your ride take you to the terminal? Check the LAS rental car pickup address first: the airport’s Rent-A-Car Center is at 7135 Gilespie Street, three miles south of the airport. If that’s the address on your confirmation, head there rather than making a terminal detour.

Both Enterprise and Avis list their LAS locations at 7135 Gilespie Street. Before setting off, match the supplier’s name and full street address on your confirmation with your map destination. Use the pickup location’s instructions—not just an airport name or a search result for the rental brand.

An older airport name on the paperwork can make this confusing. Avis’s LAS page still labels its address “McCarran Rent A Car Center,” while the airport’s current website calls the facility the Rent-A-Car Center. Those listings show the same street address; the different wording doesn’t mean you need to find a second facility.

If someone’s dropping you off from a hotel or elsewhere in town, send them the confirmed rental-location address before you leave. If your confirmation shows a different address, don’t substitute the shared center automatically. Ask your supplier which location you should use and whether there are any separate arrival instructions.

Already at the airport terminal? You can still reach the center using the airport’s free rental-car shuttle. In Terminal 1, follow signs from baggage claim to Ground Transportation on Level 1, then go outside doors 10 and 11. In Terminal 3, follow signs from baggage claim to Ground Transportation on Level Zero and the Rental Car Shuttle stops.

Once you reach the center, follow your supplier’s check-in instructions. Enterprise’s LAS page directs arriving customers to its counter for the rental agreement and keys; don’t assume another company uses the same process. Save your confirmation and pickup instructions on your phone before leaving your hotel so you have the address and next step together.
