For ATL rental car pickup from the Domestic Terminal, collect your bags first, then take the SkyTrain to the Rental Car Center.

You’ve collected your suitcase at the Domestic Terminal, but where’s the rental counter? For ATL rental car pickup, your next stop is the SkyTrain—not a search through the terminal for your supplier’s desk. Follow signs for Ground Transportation and the Rental Car Center; Enterprise’s airport instructions identify the Rental Car Center as the second SkyTrain stop.

The rental companies operate at a shared facility called the Rental Car Center, or RCC, rather than inside the passenger terminals. Its address is 2200 Rental Car Center Parkway in College Park. That’s useful to recognize on your confirmation: an airport rental location doesn’t mean the counter is beside baggage claim.

The SkyTrain station is just outside the Domestic Terminal near the baggage claim areas. Collect your checked luggage before heading there, and keep your rental confirmation handy so you can check which company you’re looking for once you arrive.

At the Rental Car Center, follow your supplier’s signs rather than assuming every counter has the same route. Enterprise specifically directs customers down the escalator to its second-level counter to obtain their rental agreement. Those are Enterprise instructions, not a universal check-in procedure for every company in the building. Check your confirmation for any supplier-specific pickup directions.

Before leaving baggage claim, take a moment to make your luggage manageable for the transfer. As practical preparation, put your confirmation and pickup documents somewhere you can reach without opening your main suitcase. If you’re traveling with other people, agree on the rental company and destination before anyone heads ahead.

These directions start at the Domestic Terminal. If your flight arrives at the International Terminal, don’t assume you’ll step outside into the same setup: confirm the transfer route with your rental company before travel. Likewise, if you need a step-free route or help moving luggage, ask about the transfer and counter access in advance rather than relying solely on the escalator directions.
