Your flight leaves early, and you’d rather not guess where the rental car keys go before sunrise. Can you make an after-hours Enterprise return at MIA? Enterprise’s airport location lists after-hours returns as available. The useful next step is to get that branch’s exact return instructions before your last morning in Miami.

Enterprise lists its MIA location at 3900 NW 25th St, with daily service hours of 5 a.m. to 11:45 p.m. The airport says the Rental Car Center itself is open 24 hours. Those are different things: access to the building doesn’t mean an employee will be there to check in your car.

At pickup, ask where you should park for an unattended return and exactly where to leave the keys. Also ask whether there’s a separate procedure for your planned return time. Save the instructions on your phone, along with the branch’s listed number, +1 833-479-1096, so you’re not relying on memory at the end of the trip.

Clarify the paperwork, too. Ask when the rental will be recorded as returned, when your responsibility for the vehicle ends, and how you’ll receive the final receipt. The location’s statement that after-hours returns are available doesn’t answer those questions, so don’t assume that leaving the keys settles every part of the rental.

Before leaving the car, a useful precaution is to photograph its condition, fuel or charge level, mileage, and parking position. Follow the fuel or charging terms in your agreement, and check the cabin and cargo area for your belongings. Keep your photos and any return confirmation until you’ve reviewed the final receipt.

Plan the terminal transfer separately from the car drop-off. MIA connects the Rental Car Center and airport via the MIA Mover; the terminal station is on the third level between the Dolphin and Flamingo garages. Leave time for parking, unloading, following the return procedure, and getting back to your airline—not just the drive to the facility.

If you arrive and the parking or key-drop setup doesn’t match the instructions, use the contact details in your rental agreement to request guidance rather than improvising a place to leave the car or keys. A quick confirmation before departure is much easier than trying to resolve an unclear return while watching the clock.
